Door County Amusement Park

A nightly county fair that operated from may through halloween the park welcomed 3 000 to 4 000 people through its doors on busy summer days.

It features level grassy and gravel padded sites with 30 or 50 amp service. All outdoor and indoor equipment listed but not limited to golf clubs golf balls go carts video games are sanitized regularly. The rocky ledges and caves along the shore are gorgeous with the shimmer of ice forming from the waves of a wintery lake michigan smashing against the shoreline forming massive icicles and formations. The go karts and mini golf are always a big hit. However when we arrived at ellison bluff the sun was out with clear blue skies and we drove the gravel path back to the parking area through the woods and took the small walk over to the scenic overlook and wow this park is off the beaten path but so worth it as it gives great views of the lake and sunset with an overhang that makes your stomach drop a bit. With 16 miles of cross country ski trails 17 miles of snowmobiling trails snowshoeing and ice fishing it s just as popular when the weather gets cold.

It featured an arcade a drive up restaurant go karts bumper boats a train and a classic pre world war ii carousel bought at auction from the old funtown amusement park in chicago. All sites are provided with sewer electricity and water a picnic table and a fire ring. Beantown campground is door county s favorite campground and is located a mile from downtown baileys harbor. But there is a downhill history in the park that sets it apart from anywhere else in the state.
